Kyle Christensson’s inspiration for acting began at an early age, performing in school plays all through elementary to High School. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Kyle moved to Vancouver, BC in early 2000 where he found work as a background performer. It is here where he knew he wanted to be an actor. Kyle’s passion for the arts took him in a different direction where he began writing poetry. He found writing to be therapeutic and eventually self publish four books of Poetry.

Kyle continued acting throughout his writing and has done various commercial work and performed in numerous short and independent films. In 2021 Kyle enrolled at New Image College to strengthen his acting. He enjoys playing edgier roles like his performance in the play ‘One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ playing a racist and homophobic orderly. 

Kyle is part of the LGBTQ+ community and although most his family and friends consider him a teddy bear; he is trying to break the gay stereotype by taking on these hard edgy characters, finding the nuances in each of his performances. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and nature hikes for his inspiration. In June of last year Kyle graduated his second year at New Image College and has kept up his training with top professionals, keeping himself fresh and relevant for the industry. Kyle was able to work alongside one of his past teachers as a stage manager for the play Frankenstein.
